Using Flash Builder and Flex 4.5 to build mobile apps

This session is an introduction to the process of development of mobile applications using Adobe technologies. We will walk your through the workflows of creating an application and then deploying and testing the app on devices. You will learn the basics of using Flash Builder 4.5 (Eclipse based IDE), the Flex framework (application framework), and Adobe AIR (Adobe's runtime for desktop and mobile applications).

Mihai Corlan - Adobe

Mihai Corlan is world wide developer evangelist at Adobe focusing on Flex, AIR, Flash Builder, and Flex, and HTML. Before that he worked with Flex Builder as a computer scientist. Prior to joining Adobe, Mihai was a senior developer with InterAKT Online (acquired by Adobe in 2006), where he worked on web products such as e-shops, newsletters, and surveys or on RAD tools for web developers.
He believes that in the future more people will interact with software and consume Internet using smartphones and tablets. And thus excellent and revolutionary UI for these systems is mandatory in the 21st century.
